About Us

Kirkdec Painting & Decorating was established in 2004 by long term business partners Peter and Scott Kirkland, and together we have over 18 years experience in the trade. After leaving school, we each served our apprenticeships in our father’s business, during which time we had the opportunity to learn the skills that he had gained from over 30 years in the trade. Along with our training and qualifications, we are proud to have both won awards at South Lanarkshire College and in National Level competitions.

We have strived to establish Kirkdec as a Lanarkshire painting and decorating company whose name is synonymous with professionalism, quality and overall customer satisfaction, whether in the commercial or domestic sector. We are proud to say that a high percentage of our work is gained through recommendations, which we believe indicates a high level of customer satisfaction – something which we strive to maintain.

Kirkdec Painting & Decorating are proud members and supporters of the Dulux Select Decorators Scheme and our membership number is 330429430 – we always encourage potential clients to check our accreditations for their own peace of mind. In addition to this, our Glasgow decorating company is also Trust Mark registered, which is a scheme supported by government, building industry, and consumer protection groups to allow people to find reliable and trustworthy tradesmen.

All Dulux approved and Trust Mark accredited decorators are experienced professionals, whose abilities and skills are of the highest standard. As such, all work on private residential premises is guaranteed for 24 months (terms and conditions apply) and 24 month guarantees for work on commercial premises are also available (again, terms and conditions apply).
